I would like to show you a mystery a gem of knowledge. The 12 elders casting their crowns are witnesses of What God does in heaven. But we too are witnesses, having front row seats in the realms of Heaven. Partnering with the great I AM as we sit aside inside of ourselves and let Him take the wheel. In John 14- Jesus said, it is not me but my Father in me doing the work.
One of the greatest deficits in a believers life is lack of understanding - even if you think you " have it" you realize hopefully that you don't. In John 9:39-41 And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
There is always more than you can presently see in any situation so not to judge quickly. In realizing this you become open to learning more. This keeps you teachable and humble. But most of all - it keeps you from criticisms that are unkind and ruthless. Bad fruit bearing.
Some of our quick judgements are a lack of knowledge and understanding. Take for example a person whom I know that is a searching Muslim reading the bible who sent me the question as to why was it ok that the 12 went out and killed the whole city who took Diana their sister for his wife. Gen. 34. We read more in the book of Jubilees regarding this story. So one may think, WOW. why did they do that? They could of just said yes.I mean they seemed kind in that offering of partnering with them and their sister is not speaking up against it, nor for it. We really don't understand, at least that is what I thought at first. However if you read the book " The Twelve Testaments of the Patriarchs"
Specifically Levi's testament where Levi' is speaking- it reads as follows:
6. And when I came to my father ( Jacob) I found a brazen shield; wherefore also the name of the mountain is Aspis, which is near Gebal, on the right side of Abila; and I kept these words in my heart. I took counsel with my father, and with Reuben my brother, that he should bid the sons of Hamor that they should be circumcised; for I was jealous because of the abomination which they had wrought in Israel. And I slew Shechem at the first, and Simeon slew Hamor. And after this our brethren came and smote the city with the edge of the sword; and our father heard it and was wroth, and he was grieved in that they had received the circumcision, and after that had been put to death, and in his blessings he dealt otherwise with us. For we sinned because we had done this thing against his will, and he was sick upon that day. But I knew that the sentence of God was for evil upon Shechem; for they sought to do to Sarah as they did to Dinah our sister, and the Lord hindered them. And so they persecuted Abraham our father when he was a stranger, and they harried his flocks when they were multiplied upon him; and Jeblae his servant, born in his house, they shamefully handled. And thus they did to all strangers, taking away their wives by force, and the men themselves driving into exile. But the wrath of the Lord came suddenly upon them to the uttermost.
7. And I said to my father, Be not angry, sir, because by thee will the Lord bring to nought the Canaanites, and will give their land to thee, and to thy seed after thee. For from this day forward shall Shechem be called a city of them that are without understanding; for as a man mocketh at a fool, so did we mock them, because they wrought folly in Israel to defile our sister. And we took our sister from thence, and departed, and came to Bethel.
When we engage with the seven spirits of God and integrate with counsel, understanding and knowledge we are then able to judge properly as we judge His courts. We know it is God in us making a right judgement as we entangle with the Holy Spirit, and the Seven Spirits of God and not our lack of understanding, knowledge or counseling working in these courts. Leaning on and into Him. He is the author and finisher of our faith. All of heaven is truly watching God through you and through others expressing Himself. Although we must be pure through repentance to be worked through we are resting in Him as He does, sees, judges through us and through others. All of heaven is in unity because God is in unity with Himself!
The more we yield to the pruning and cleansing process, the more we are able to be filled up with Him and have a 'Front row seat' as one being right there, of watching Him do through us as we do things in heaven. Or should I say, entangling with Him doing as we are observing Him. Gods spirit, of Counsel, Understanding, and Knowledge working and making the judgements. Its a wonderful Shift of the mind.
